Damsel Fly

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for my daughter's Goddaughter who is going to be 11 going on 19.  So cute would not be acceptable at all and I also left the number off!! So, I decided to go with bright and glittery, the backing paper is from a cover gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft, the corner image is another cover gift from the same mag coloured with Promarkers, the Damsel Fly is a Clarity stamp.  I stamped it twice, once onto white card, then onto sticky back acetate, and covered the back with cerise glitter from Debbi Moore, I think you can just about see the glitter in the pic. The sentiment is computer generated to which I added a shrink plastic version of the damsel fly.

    WOWeee Beryl, I had these papers and thought them too bright, gave them to a 10 year old who is starting cardmaking, after seeing this card I'm sorry I did it's lovely.

    Well not really as she was thrilled and has made a super card with one of the sheets so far. I could have kept a few for me thoug :(

    Fab. Love the Damsel fly. As you know I have already fallen in love with that freebie stamp, but confess I haven't used the papers yet, and like Faith I thought they were a tad bright - ummmm - better have a rethink and another look and rectify that!

    Haha...11 going on 19. I love that! I have a 14 year old...what age is she going on? I'd be safe to guess 24. :)
