Well it's Sunday so it's time for another challenge over at CD Sunday - Tag You're It the team would like to see a tag somewhere on your design. I'm feeling a bit sad though because this is my last challenge at Guest Designer. I have had a wonderful time and would like to say a huge Thank You to the ladies on the Team for inviting me to join them for a short spell.
For my card I have, for the second time in just a few days, turned to Joanna Sheen's From the Heart of the Garden cd. I took the matching backing paper into Craft Artist to lighten it a couple of shades. The embossed card is from my stash as are the pearl brads used to attach the tags and flower. I sprayed the flower with Silver Sparkle spray, but it doesn't really show up in the pic. The leaves were punched from scraps as were the tags, the sentiment was computer generated. Sorry about the glare from the silver mirri
Thank you very much for taking the time to visit today

Drummer Girl
Good Morning, my card to share today is for Sketch119 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The image is from Sandra Dry Digis (she has closed down now) coloured with a mixture of Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics, the diamond backing paper is CuddlyBuddly, the lighter backing paper is from Sharon Duncan Embossibilties, which I took into Craft Artis to match the colours. It has got music notes all over it but they don't show up in the pic, finished off with Card Candy and a flower from my stash
Many thank for taking the time to visit

First Ever
Good Afternoon, I haven't got a card to share today, but I do have my First Ever Scrapbook Page. This week Rainbow Lady's Challenge is Island Paradise. As I live on an island I thought it would be good to do something with Shetland Pictures, so I decided to make a scrapbook page. I used Craft Artist for the layout and verse and printed the main picture of Stuart and Kayla (grandchildren) onto photopaper so that I could 3d it. They were here for a holiday in 2009 and we had glorious weather, so we went to one of many fabulous beaches here in the Northern Isles - St Ninian's Isle. The picture in the bubble is an image of the same place that I found, courtesy of Google.
I started using pictures of shells, but then remembered that I found a bag in my local craft shop and couple of months back. I bought them thinking they might come in useful at some point, and they did.
I quite enjoyed creating this piece, and might even look out some other pics of the little ones and have another go. I hope you like my page and many thanks for visiting

Less is More Time!
My card to share today is for this week's Less Is More Challenge - One Layer Card - Something With Legs.
I printed the double frame and sentiment in Craft Artists, in medium grey, and then stamped the image inside the frame with Versamark and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver ep. I couldn't get a very good picture as it is so dull today, I did all the things I normally do to get the best possible light and used Picassa to try to improve things, but even that didn't want to play today. So the final pic looks more like a black and white card and not grey and silver. The stamp is one I bought last year from Imagination Crafts to use for last Christmas, but never took it of it's packaging!!! I used an A5 card because the frame took up too much space on a square one. I am not overly happy with the result and will probably make another at some point this week.
Thank you for visiting today.

Second Graduation Card
Good Evening, my card today is the second Graduation card that I mentioned yesterday. I have followed Sketch 64 over at Sketch and Stash. The new element for my card is the image which I bought from Crafts u Print especially for this card as I didn't have anything suitable. The backing papers are from CuddlyBuddly taken into Craft Artist to change the colours to black and white. Everything else came from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.
I am also entering my card into the challenge at Ooh La La Creations - Father's Day/ Special Man. I am sure a newly graduated young man is a Special Man.
Thank for you for visiting and the amazing comments you have left me recently, they are really special and mean so much

Less is More - No.2
Good Afternoon, Today's card is another Less is More - Monogram card, it is for a friend to give to her nephew. Using Craft Artist I printed the text and grad cap onto the base card, then printed off the main image and another copy of the grad cap. I matted the main image onto black card and silver mirri, then cut out the grad cap and 3d it onto the base card, doesn't really show up in the pic, neither does the silver mirri. Font is Calamity Teen, that's about it, a very simple card. I will be posting another card for this young man tomorrow, that one is for his mum to give him, and it is a bit more complex.

Less is More - Monogram
Good Evening, well it's that time of the week again. When I first saw the topic for this week's Less is More Challenge - Monogram, my heart sank right down to my boots. I have spent the afternoon going through all of my grandchildren's names trying to come up with an idea - then the light bulb went off. My eldest grandchild is called Bethany, who is 16, and for quite a few years now has gone by the name of Bee, starting out with her mum just using the letter B when texting. I did a quick google search and found the bee image and went to work with Craft Artist. I used Calamity Teen font and the colour picker to match the text with the bee's wings. I printed the B and the bee then cut it to size and matted with some co-orinating Papermania textured cardstock and used a black pen to leave a trail. The sentiment was printed directly onto the card. I hope this is the kind of thing you are looking for Chrissie and Mandi.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my card.

Less is More
Well it's Less is More time again and this week Chrissie and Mandi have asked for a One Layer Card and a Frame. I decided to make an inked rectangle for the frame and managed to waste a fair bit of card in the process - what with one mistake or another, in the end I threw in the towel and slightly cheated. I was going to the print sentiment directly onto my card with Craft Artist and decided to print the coloured rectangle as well. Then I used my new Clarity Alium stamp and embosed with white detail embossing powder.
I hope you like my card, I will probably make another attempt at this challenge later in the week

Ticket to Ride
Good afternoon, my card to share today is a Father's Day card for two of my grandchilren to give to their Daddy. I am entering it into Rainbow Lady's Challenge which is another song title this week - Ticket to Ride. Cynthia wants to see some form of transport and a ticket. My image is from the Create a Scene stamps from Creative Expressions and as I am not that good at colouring these big images I decided to make a black and white card. That brought up the problem of papers - not a problem for Craft Artist. I inserted two CuddlyBuddly digi papers into the programe and changed the colours with a click of the mouse. The ticket is from a sheet of tickets from CraftyAnn which I again took into Craft Artist and added 'Daddy' to it. A fairly quick and easy card.
Thank you so much for visiting.
