Good Evening, my card today is for the challenge at CACB which is an either/or choice of a Sketch/Spring or you can do both, which I have done. The image is Primroses from Joanna Sheen's Meadow Flowers Stamps, and following on from that article in Cardmaking and Papercraft, I unearthed my Lyras and watercoloured. The bps are from CraftyAnn's Digi Shop, the yellow cuttlebugged piece is from my stash as are the gems. The sentiment is computer generated. Sorry the pic's a bit light again.
I am also entering my card into the challenge at Crafty Creations - Mother's Day
Thanks for visiting

Roses
Today's card is for two challenges again. I have followed Sketch26 over at Sketch and Stash and this is a birthday card which is what the DT from The Pink Elephant have asked for. The image is another of Joanna Sheen's Wildflowers - the roses and once again watercoloured with my Lyras. The bp is from Funky Fairys, it doesn't show up very well but it is in shades of green. When it came to the flower needed for the sketch I was having real problems in finding a flower to match. I then remembered that my youngest daughter gave me a box filled with crafting goodies for my Christmas pressie, and this rose came from there. Apparently, while Joanna was picking up some brads and ribbons and stuff my SIL wandered around and picked up some packs of embellies - the guy did good as this flower is perfect for the card both in colour and type. The greeting was computer generated and everything else came from my stash.Thank you so much for visiting and for all the lovely comments you have been leaving me.

Poppies
.jpg)
For my card today I have followed the sketch over at Papertake Weekly. The image is Poppies from the Joanna Sheen's Wildflowers Collection. I stamped onto watercolour paper with Versafine Onyx Black and coloured in with my Lyra watercolours. The cardstock and papers all come from my stash. I have made a resolution to use up some of the masses of papers I have, this particular one has been in my box for well over three years (I think). The sentiment was computer generated and I added a couple of butterfly gems.
I am entering my card into three challenges. Papertake Weekly - Sketch.
Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog - New and Cute Card Thursday which is also New. The something new on my card is the stamp, I treated myself to the set of six wildflowers as my Christmas Pressie to myself.
I hope you like my card and thank you for visiting and leaving me such wonderful comments.

Hi, today's card is for The Pink Elephant Challenge - Plaid, No Ribbon and any number of Brads.

The snowflakes are brads and I have used brads to attach the sentiment which is computer generated and stuck onto a nestie tag. The bp is from Daisy and Dandelion's Christmas pad. The cardstock is Coredinations and I used a Martha Stewart punch.

The Colours of Spring
.jpg)
This card is for two challenges, firstly a great sketch for Papertake Weekly and secondly for the Tander Teaser which is Spring into Easter and you can make a card for both or either. For me nothing shouts Spring more than green and yellow, the colours of daffodils and new leaves on the trees. The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Lyra Watercolours. the flower was free with Cardmaking and Papercraft last month, the paper I have had in my craft box for a couple of years now and the cs is from Papermania. I hope you like my card, thank you for visiting and for any comment you may wish to make. Everyone is appreciated. Beryl x

Butterfly Collage
.jpg)
Today's card is not for a challenge, I made it at the weekend for a customer. The stamp is a new one which I won on Ebay last week. I've no idea of the manufacturer but I loved it from the first moment I saw it in a craft mag recently, and was surprised when it popped up on the screen whilst browsing the rubber stamp listings. I just managed to get a bid in before the auction closed and was thrilled to win. I have coloured it with Lyra Watercolours, the textured background is Lilac Stardream run through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Folder, the big flower is a Flora Doodle Dahlia and the little one in the middle came from a Papermania pack of silk flowers that I have had for a long time. I hope you like my card and many thanks for visiting today. Beryl x

Sketch and Stash
.jpg)
Today's card is for Sketch and Stash No.6. The stamp is new from a DesignHouse unmounted plate and I have watercoloured using Lyras. The cs is from a new pack of Papermani 12x12 and the paper is from an older Papermania 12x12 set that I have had for about two years. The flowers and brad come from my craft box. The colouring around the edge was done with Colorbox Chalk Wisteria. I actually made a mistake while going around the edge of the image the ink pad slipped, so instead of throwing it away I increased the depth and intensity to cover it up. Thank you for visiting my blog and if you would like to leave a comment please do. I appreciate every single one. Beryl x
