Inspired by Peacocks

Good Morning, my card to share today is for this week's CD Sunday Challenge - Inspired by Peacocks.  I decided to wander through Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Dreams and came upon a few peacock images to play with.  As you can see, I haven't gone with an obvious peacock image or colour.  I fell in love with this image and it does have a couple of peacock feathers on it. Then I went through the embellishment section of this cd and found the fairy riding on the back of a peacock butterfly, I used Versamark and clear embossing powder to give it a gloss finish. The backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Fairyland cd, I had a piece of this left over from another project and thought that I had splattered some ink on it and put it on my craft table for scrap paper: only to find that the little marks are actually supposed to be there.  The gems are from my stash and the sentiment computer generated.

Thank you very much for visiting today and for any comments you might wish to make

  3. I love this Beryl you have put it together so well, the image is great and I do love this cd. The challenge is inspired by peacocks so doesn't need to have an actual peacock on it, just something that has been inspired by one and this image obviously has been.
Thanks for joining us this week and best of luck with both the draw and the top three spots.
