Good Afternoon from a gloriously sunny Shetland, it is absolutely beautiful got all the doors and windows open. I also had a problem taking the pic of my card because it is so bright. My card is for this week's CD Sunday Challenge - Black and Blue. The backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Art Deco Christmas cd from last year, the image is from Chocolate Baroque, stamped with archival blank ink onto a piece of card in my white scrap box. The flower is from my stash and I cut the swirl out from an offcut of blue card.
I am also entering my card into Jules' Crafty Snippet Challenge and Ooh La La Creations - Punches or DieCuts
I hope you like my card and many thanks for your visit.

Hi Beryl
ReplyDeleteLucky you with the weather. We aren't quite so fortunate at the moment though yesterday was an OK day for drying washing so I shouldn't complain!
Loving your lovely snippet make .. .. all of those swirls look gorgeous and your image goes alongside perfectly. So lovely all in blue!!
Thank you for keeping me company in the snippet playground this week.
Love Jules xx
Lovely card - knew I should have bought some of Debbie's cd at Sandown! I was tempted but couldn't decide which one(s) I wanted. Duh!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should use a Flora Doodle flower - I raided my stash of them yesterday, but not for a card - I used one to cover a hole in my patio doors curtain. I need to buy a new curtain, but this was a quick stopgap whilst I had it down for washing yesterday. Actually it looks rather effective, perhaps I ought to attache some more. LOL!

ReplyDeleteIt never fails to amaze me how the weather can be so different in the different areas of this country of ours but isn't nice to have some sun for a change. Your card is lovely, great use of snippets - the stamp is a beauty and I love the flourish. Elizabeth x
