Good Afternoon, not been around for a few days as I've been a bit under the weather. My card today is for this week's
Less is More Challenge - Colour Monochrome. I have been making cards for 8 years now and for a lot of that time I have been selling quite a few at our local Health Centre. Last year I had a blip in my cardmaking, I found it a chore and not fun. During this time I never made any surplus cards for sale and someone else started putting her cards there. At the beginning of this week I got a phone call from my friend who works at the Health Centre asking if I could make a retirement card for one of the midwives. When she came to pick it up she saw my LIM cards and asked if I could make a few Sympathy cards in the same vein. So when I saw this week's challenge I knew immediately what my card was going to be. The image is Penny Black stamped with Versafine and the sentiment is computer generated.

ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting back in there, you have beautiful cards they are missing. Same sort of thing is happening to me, I suppose it's peoples ideas changing and we have to change our designs a bit every so often too, at least that's what I am telling myself :)
