I've been playing

As I have been having problems getting going with my cardmaking since returning from holiday at the beginning of May, I have spent a few days stamping and colouring in. Then I decided to get my wax and iron out and played around with that. Whilst blog hopping this morning I found the My Time to Craft Challenge this week was for No Patterned Paper. I went and seached through all the bits of encaustic art I have been doing and then all of my stamping and colouring in bits. I discovered these two pieces which I think match up quite well. The stamp is a Sugar Nellie one and coloured in with Inktense Pencils. The image and encaustic piece are matted onto silk mirri card. The sentiment is computer generated onto Safmat and the flower was a freebe from Cardmaking and Papercraft a few months ago. I hope you like my card and thank you for still visiting even though I have been AWOL so much.

  10. Hu Beryl, think we all ahve the same problem one way or another after holidays. A fired of mine says she always buys a new stamp when she comes home and just sits and spamps with it to see how many different ideas she can up with and that gets her creative juices flowing again. So shall try that this year.

Anyway, your card turend really nicely and so unusual, well done.

  11. Nice to see you getting into the groove again. Love the colours on this one and the encaustic art is awsome (as Lorraine would say). I seem to have ground to a halt this week after the visitors. I'll try to do something creative next week.
