Thank you so much for following my blog

It has taken me all day...

.......but I have finally managed to cut out my very first Craft Robo card. The computer nearly went out the window a few times because I couldn't get the software to do what I wanted. I had so many trial and errors that I have blunted my cutting blade already. Not to worry though I've learnt a couple of "what not to do's" so hopefully my next attempt won't take me so long. I finished the card off with a die cut decoupage daffodil (wanted something quick and easy to get the card finished), some Papermania gems and a piece of orange speckled paper from my stash. Thank you for visiting and for all of the wonderful comments you leave. Beryl x

  1. Well done Beryl, your first robo card is lovely. I know what you mean about the frustration and wanting to chuck it all out of the window but you're starting to get somewhere. A wee tip though - until you are a bit more confident, try new things with a pencil and some scrap paper first to save your blade.

  5. It's very frustrating when something is new and you know what you want to do but have so many things to learn before you can do it. It will all be worth it in the end Bery and Ann's tip with the pencil sounds a good one.
I'm at that stage with my Serif Scrapbooking Cd - very much a learner and I have to hook up my Cricut Design Studio too so oh my I better get started.
Looking forward to seeing your next efforts.

  8. Well it was worth it in the end and those daffs are lovely. It's like most new bits of kit - takes a while to get to know it. (I haven't mastered the mobile phone I bought last October yet.I use it so rarely that I've forgotton what to do by the time I use it again.)

  11. This is lovely Beryl and well worth the hard work. It would be no good me buying one as I am thick and certainly wouldn't have been able to grasp it.
