Danglers and Last Post

This is a Rainbow Lady's challenge this week which is 'Danglers'. I didn't think I could enter this as we are off on holiday tomorrow, but was showing my card file to a friend and I found this one. I made it last year for a teenage girl and she was thrilled with it. I haven't shown it on my blog before Cynthia. It's an off centre gate fold with embossed diamonds from a Glitter Girls board, I think it's the first one Framey. I stuck purple embellishments into the diamonds added a bit of purple embossed paper from my craft box, and attached some beads tied onto a glittery thread.I hope you like my card and thanks for visiting. I won't have much computer access for the next three weeks so won't be able to do much blog hopping, so will see you when I get back. Beryl x

Fairy Messy Rabbit

My second posting today is a card for Cute Card Thursday, which is for Pink and Brown. The image is one of Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbits - this is from the Magical Set. I have coloured my rabbit with Lyra Watercolours and some Sakura Stardust Glitter pens - not that the glitter shows up in the pic. The paper is from Papermania and I have added a couple of Flora Doodles. I hope you like this and many thanks for dropping by. Please feel free to leave a comment, I appreciate every single one. The Colours of Spring

This card is for two challenges, firstly a great sketch for Papertake Weekly and secondly for the Tander Teaser which is Spring into Easter and you can make a card for both or either. For me nothing shouts Spring more than green and yellow, the colours of daffodils and new leaves on the trees. The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Lyra Watercolours. the flower was free with Cardmaking and Papercraft last month, the paper I have had in my craft box for a couple of years now and the cs is from Papermania. I hope you like my card, thank you for visiting and for any comment you may wish to make. Everyone is appreciated. Beryl x

Cute Daisy May

This card is for the Cute Daisy May Challenge this week, which is to use Pink and Brown. I have coloured the image with a combination of Promarkers and Derwent Colour Soft pencils blended with Sansodor, I used Crafter's Companion Spray and Shine on the image. The backing card and paper are both from Papermania, and to finish I added a couple of Flora Doodles in Pink and Brown. I think I should have made the card smaller cos I think it's lacking something at this size. Anyway, thank you for visiting again today and thank you also for any comments you may wish to leave. 2 in 1

I have made this card to fit two challengs again. Firstly for SketchandStash No.7 and secondly for The Pink Elephant which is a recipe. You have to use texture, stamping and punching. I put the dark brown card through my Cuttlebut Swiss Dots folder. The squares are cut from a piece of Encaustic Art that I made a while ago. The stamp is one from an Elusive Images Plate, Butterfly Daisy Collage. It is the first time I have used this particular stamp from the sheet. I stippled some inks onto glossy card and then sealed it with Crafter's Companion Spray & Shine and when dry I stamped the butterfly with a Versamagic Chalk Inkpad called Java. I finally sprayed the finished piece with Crafter's Companion Gold Spray and Sparkle, the pic doesn't really show the sparkle. I love these new sprays. I used a corner rounder punch on all the corners. Thank you for visiting and for taking the time to leave a comment. Beryl x

It has taken me all day...

.......but I have finally managed to cut out my very first Craft Robo card. The computer nearly went out the window a few times because I couldn't get the software to do what I wanted. I had so many trial and errors that I have blunted my cutting blade already. Not to worry though I've learnt a couple of "what not to do's" so hopefully my next attempt won't take me so long. I finished the card off with a die cut decoupage daffodil (wanted something quick and easy to get the card finished), some Papermania gems and a piece of orange speckled paper from my stash. Thank you for visiting and for all of the wonderful comments you leave. Beryl x

Charisma Cardz

My second card today is for the challenge over at Charisma Cards which is a sketch. The image is from Elusive Images, one of Glenda's Fairy Plates. I have stamped my fairy with Versafine Crimson and painted her wings with a waterbrush and a Sakura Stardust pen to give a bit of shimmer, which does not show in the pic. I die cut a buckle from Sissix and tied a piece of grosgrain ribbon to it as an embellishment and I attached the required flower to the card with a pearl brad. The big flower was a free one from a magazine a couple of months back, the silver card, gems and ribbon all came from my stash. Thank you so much for dropping by and a huge thank you for all of the wonderful comments you leave. Beryl x

Fingers Crossed

I have got my fingers crossed because I am hoping this card will qualify for four challenges. It definitely fits the bill for Sketch Saturday No.45 and for Cute Card Thursday Citrus Colours. The other two challenges are for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and The Pink Elephant Challenge and they both require an Easter Card, so I am hoping they will accept my offering. I have stamped the hedgies in Versafine Onyx and coloured in using my Promarkers. The bp is Papermania and the orange card, gold card, the ribbon, the flower and gems all came from my stash. The sentiment I made on my computer. Thank you for visiting my blog today and if you would like to leave a comment please do, as I appreciate every single one. Beryl x

You Need Hands

Today's card is for two challenges. First of all Rainbow Lady's Challenge is to use Hands in your creation, and secondly I have followed Sketch No.46 at Friday Sketchers. The two shades of lilac card are from Papermania and the dotty paper is from Creative Cardmaking Magazine. The image I found on my Printmaster Gold.17 software and the sentiment is computer generated. I finished off by adding a yellow flower to pick up the yellow dots on the paper. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and a big thank you for all the lovely comments that you so kindly leave. Beryl x

Peacock Lady

Today's card is for a friend's birthday. The image is from one of the Elusive Images Peacock Range, I've had it for a while and this is the first time I have used this particular stamp. I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black and coloured the headress with Inktense Pencils and I used Promarkers for her face. The bp is from my Graphicus Guild Pack. After finishing colouring in I felt there there was too much blank card around the image so I decided to cut away all the blank bits and have ended up with the odd shape. The green and yellow backing card is from Papermania and the ribbon came from my stash. Thank you for visiting my blog and for all the lovely comments that you leave. Beryl x
