Good Afternoon,My card to share today is for this week's challenge over at Less is More this week it is time for a one layer card and Chrissie and Mandi have asked for Hearts. I decided to take a chance on Zentangle .
When we went to Westpoint the other week there was a lady there doing Zentangle. She had the most amazing work on display and Joanna was well impressed, we both decided to buy the starter kit including sketch pad, pens and book of designs. Joanna took to it quite easily as she has always been able to draw, but I found it quite daunting, especially after being thrown out of art at the end of my second year at grammar school, I was bottom of the class, I have problems drawing a straight line, even with the aid of a ruler lol. My first efforts were in pencil and I was continually rubbing out. But, I have persevered and am improving ever so slightly, but still have a long way to do.
I hope you like my card and many thanks for stopping by

ReplyDeleteBeryl, I got hooked on Zentangle in June, and I'm really loving it. I started out with simple designs but before I knew it I was moving on to some more complex drawings....this work of art of yours doesn't look like a beginner to me! Beautiful work. If you want to peek at my most recent tangling you can see it here
ReplyDeleteWow Beryl this is awesome I have never heard of this technique before but I do know that I love what you have created, superb work.
