Feeling Fruity
Good Evening, First off this evening I have to say ahuge thank you to all my blogging friends who left get well wishes during this past week. My Labrynthitis is under control most of the time, but I do have the odd dizzy spell, I am still taking the tablets!
I've got two cards to share today and they are both for this week's Less is More Challenge - Feeling Fruity, to use fruit or fruit colours on our cards. I have made two cards using digi stamps by CraftyAnn, there is a third image I was playing with - apples on a plate - but I got bogged down getting these two finished. I'll maybe have another attempt later in the week using that image.
Card Number 1 - the image was coloured with Promarkers using the new fine tips, the cuttlebugged card is another Crafty Ann product, this from her Polished Stone collection, The sentiment was printed directly to the base card.
Card No.2 - the image was coloured with Derwent Coloursoft pencils and blended with Sansador. The cs is from the new colour co-ordinated Papermania range, the sentiment was again printed directly onto the base card. I didn't have a toning ribbon, so I coloured this gorgeous satin and organza ribbon (white) with a Promarker. I added a few drops of Glossy Accent to the apples, but it doesn't show up very well, especially on the Promarker apple.
Thank you so much for visiting
Beryl x

I love both cards Beryl. I must admit that I haven't cracked colouring the apples with promarkers and usually reach for my faithful coloursoft pencils so you're braver (or perhaps more skilled) than me. :o)
