Good Afternoon from a gloriously sunny Shetland, it was raining this morning, but now there isn't a cloud in the sky. Hopefully, I am going to sit outside with my book for an hour after I have finished this post. The ladies of Humbug Hall have asked us all to Go Green this week - Recycling or Shades of Green. I have managed a bit of both a fair bit of green and the buttons are recycled from my good neighbour's fabulous button box. She has been recycling buttons since well before recycling was even though of. The ribbon is also recycled, sorry the buttons don't show up very well in the pic. I have also followed this week's sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday
The image is a Judikins stamp, the bp is from an old Papermania Christmas pad, the coloured cs is from my scraps box, the flower is a Marianne Creatable Poinsettia and the sentiment is computer generated.
Thanks for your visit and the lovely comments you have been leaving me.

ReplyDeleteBeryl, I don't really want to be thinking about Christmas yet this year as we have hardly had spring here in the Pacific Northwest. But your Christmas card is lovely. Your papers are beautiful. It's always nice to be resourceful and use things that we already have. Fabulous job! Judi SSW DT
ReplyDeleteI do so admire all you girls making your Christmas cards. I can't bring myself to do it yet! This is a lovely card Beryl.

Hi Beryl, great Christmas Card, your so organised. Love the trees and colours love how you have used the recycled buttons but mum always recycled as well and had a massive tin of them. Great card, thanks so much for sharing it with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week.

How lucky are you that you have access to your neighbours button box? Love the layout and the flash of red. Great entry to our double option challenge.
ReplyDeleteLike Kathy, my mum had a tin filled with various buttons from clothes that had outworn their usefulness .. or maybe more accurately were worn out! As kids we were allowed to play with them as long as we didn't leave them lying around ... but I bet she wouldn't let me near it now LOL! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
