Make a wish

Good Afternoon, I thought that the card I was sharing with you today was the latest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, the one I had tried to make earlier in the week and made a complete mess of, I have just been to post it onto the Challenge site and discovered I have followed the wrong sketch..... doh! Senior moment or what.    The image is a digi stamp by Lilyboo which I bought from CuddlyBuddly.  I was reading my Papercraft and Cardmaking yesterday afternoon and there was an article about colouring in.  How that since we have all discovered Copics and Promarkers we tend to forget what we used to use.  This got me thinking and for a change I got out my Derwent Soft Colour Pencils for this image, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  The bp is from a freebee pad with the same mag a few months back.  I had a disaser with the bottom of the easel and lost the matching bp and didn't have any more.  So I had to compromise using the two colours of cs, I think it has turned out reasonably well.

I can still enter my card into the challenge at The Crafty Purple Frog - Fly away with us.and  Kaboodle Doodles - Go Green.   I will maybe try again with Sweet Sketch Wednesday before the closing date, but then again maybe not lol!

Many thanks for visiting and I hope you like my card

  1. It's a lovely card Beryl. I really like the green and yellow combo.
Funny you should mention the colouring 'thing' - we were just talking about it the other day - what did we do before Copics and Promarkers right enough!
    Your colouring is fab.

  5. It's really lovely Beryl and I know what you mean about the colouring media. Before I got promarkers, you couldn't separate me from my coloursoft and inktense pencils....now I hardly use them - and that's without thinking about watercolours, twinkling H2os, pastels.........think the pms and copics must have made us lazy! lol!
