Bethany's Fairies

Hi, I have been crafting with my eldest grand-daughter - she is the one in the pic with red hair and glasses. She wanted to try some Encaustic Art so I gave her the wax and irons to play with. This is one of her pieces, we then got the stamps out and she stamped and coloured these Elusive Images Fairies and we thought they would look really good on her wax picture. Thank you for visiting and could you please take the time to leave a comment, because she will be thrilled if you do. Beryl x

  1. Fantastic!!!
What a clever girl she is - taking after grandma without a doubt :-)

The encaustic BG looks as good as any I've seen and the fairies are gorgeous and look very much at home there.

    Well done indeed :-)

  4. It fabulous Beryl. Tell her she's a very talented young lady and I'm sure she know how lucky she is to have you as a Nan. I should think it would look great framed and hung on the wall somewhere.

  7. Wow, this is stunning....I love it, love the grass effect in the fore ground too. Clever girl using this technique, I'm quite envious as I've never tried it. You obviously inherited your talent from your grandmother, lol.

  8. Well Beryl, she's obviously going to be a 'chip off the old block' isn't she? (I've often thought how much she looked like you in your photo)
What a fabulous design and what a clever girl! I love the 'mysterious' look of encaustic art and she's made a gorgeous work of art here (I can't believe it's her first attempt!) the fairies are the perfect finishing touch. Just stunning!
