Hello

I've not been around for over a week now, had visitors last weekend, and now my back is playing up quite badly. Normally, crafting helps me ignore the pain, but unfortunately not this time. Hopefully I will be back and taking part in some challenges by the middle of the week. Many thanks for all of the lovely comments you have made for my first few attempts at the challenges.

My Time to Craft

This is my second challenge and another Oriental one. The stamp is from the first Stamp Man unmounted sheet - floral. The papers are from Joanna Sheen's Tales from the Orient. I stamped the image with black pigment in and then embossed with clear embossing powder, I attached a black tassel and then matted and layered onto black card then onto gold mirri card I stamped the name the same way, using Woodware's Oriental Alphabet

Oriental Challenge

This is my first attempt at a challenge, it is for Rainbow Lady's Oriental Challenge. I used a Sprinkle and Sparkle Kimono Stamp and embossed it with S & S Bluestone embossing powder. The ribbon, background paper and gems came from my stash. Sorry it's not a very good pic.
