Good Evening, a second post today because I am cutting it fine to get my card into this weeks Bah Humbug Challenge - Acetate. The image is from Joanna Sheen's Thomas Kincade Christmas cd, printed onto acetate, then attached to a piece of white card with brads, I then used a glue pen and glitter to add a bit of Christmas Sparkle. The bp is from the Artylicious Christmas Greetings cd. The silver ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated. Sorry the pic is a bit pale and the bp looks almost white, it is actually pink with snowflakes on it.
I am also entering my card into the challenges at:
CD Sunday - Christmas is Calling
CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Pink and/or Purple

From my Scrap Box
Good Morning, my card to share today is for Sketch65 over at Sketch and Stash. The new items on my card are the flowers, they arrived from Wild Orchids on Monday, everything else is from my scrap box. I found a forgotten piece of square gold mirri with the bp already stuck onto it and that decided the rest of the card. I think the bp is from Card Creations+ Art Deco cd but am not absolutely certain. The image is Willow Designs and was sitting already coloured with Copics in my toppers box., the matting and corners are from a scrap of CraftyAnn's Polished Marble bp. Not sure what the cuttlebugged card is, I just found it in a little basket filled with embossed bits. Isn't it surprising what you can find in the various boxes and tubs that we all have sitting around our crafting space.

Picking up some more Penquins
Good Morning, it's a beautiful sunny morning again here in the northernmost isles of the UK, two in a row it must be summer lol. My card today is a skin of my teeth entry into Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch108. The image is Penny Black - Carolling Penquins. Coloured with Copics, the bp is CuddlyBuddly, the red cs is Coredinations, the ribbon was white and coloured with a Copic. The message is computer genterated.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you like my card

Feeling Blue!
Good Afternoon fellow bloggers. Been awol for over a week, life and tennis seem to have gotten in the way of crafting and I have not made one card since my LIM sketch card over a week ago. So now the tennis is finished I have given my self a stiff talking to and here is my entry into this week's Less is More Challenge - Colour Blue. This one was dead easy as I already had the topper made, a couple of weeks back I sat and stamped out this image and another one of my faves in different coloured inks and mounted them onto corresponding cs ready for any last minute requests. The image is Penny Black - Letters and Flowers, I can't remember what ink pad I used, and the sentiment is computer generated and mounted onto the same blue cs as the image
Sorry for my absence and I hope to get back to visiting you all very soon. I hope you like my card and thanks for visiting.

It's that time again!
Good Afternoon, well it's Less is More day again and this week Chrissie and Mandi have given us a sketch to follow. As I am so up to date with personal cards and ordered ones I decided to make a Christmas Card. My images are Judikins Praying Angel and Peeking Angel, coloured lightly with Copics, the matting is Papermania's new textured cs and the sentiment was printed directly onto the card, the font is Dolphin Extended.
I have decided that I have developed some physic skills this week. On Thursday I made a Christmas Card with a penquin on it for a challenge and then yesterday the ladies at Bah Humbug requested penquins for their challenge. Then this morning I went to check out the LIM challenge and found the sketch and realised that one of my early cards for LIM was the same as the sketch.
In fact just last week I made up another couple like this in different colours for my box!
Thank you for stopping by today and for the lovely comments you leave, it gives me such a buzz when I log in and find that I have a bunch of comments waiting to be read.

Pick up a Penguin
Good Evening, my card today is for Sketch107 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I have flipped it horizontally because of the way the penguin is looking - didn't think to flip Mo's Digi stamp. I coloured the image with Promarkers, the bp is DCWV Christmas stack with glitter, can't find it anywhere now I think it has been discontinued which is a shame because there were some fabby papers in this stack. Everything else on my card is from my stash, I have cuttled the red card and sprayed the white flowers with silver glitter spray. I decided to go with another Christmas card because for the first time in ages I have got all of my personal and ordered cards completely finished up to the end of July.
I am also entering my card into Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Digi Day

A second post
Back again. I don't usually post twice in one day, but I had a bit of a play just now and had a go at a tag for Dragon's Dream TIO which this week is Let's Face It. I used a Craft Stamper freebe stamp with an archival black inkpad and masked it, then over stamped with a script stamp - think it's an Aspects of Design one. Before removing the mask I used one of my Judikins colour dusters and Brushed Corduroy DI to colour the tag, then a couple of Promarkers to colour the face and what looks like a hair band. I rooted around in my ribbon bag to find something to match the hairband and found these three bits of red fibre to finish off my creation. Hope you like it cos this really isn't my comfort zone, usually everything I try like this ends up a complete mess. Must admit though, that I think this went quite well.

Second Graduation Card
Good Evening, my card today is the second Graduation card that I mentioned yesterday. I have followed Sketch 64 over at Sketch and Stash. The new element for my card is the image which I bought from Crafts u Print especially for this card as I didn't have anything suitable. The backing papers are from CuddlyBuddly taken into Craft Artist to change the colours to black and white. Everything else came from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.
I am also entering my card into the challenge at Ooh La La Creations - Father's Day/ Special Man. I am sure a newly graduated young man is a Special Man.
Thank for you for visiting and the amazing comments you have left me recently, they are really special and mean so much

Less is More - No.2
Good Afternoon, Today's card is another Less is More - Monogram card, it is for a friend to give to her nephew. Using Craft Artist I printed the text and grad cap onto the base card, then printed off the main image and another copy of the grad cap. I matted the main image onto black card and silver mirri, then cut out the grad cap and 3d it onto the base card, doesn't really show up in the pic, neither does the silver mirri. Font is Calamity Teen, that's about it, a very simple card. I will be posting another card for this young man tomorrow, that one is for his mum to give him, and it is a bit more complex.

I am Sailing
Good Evening, I haven't got a finished card to share today, just a topper. I was blog hopping earlier and landed on my blogging and Rainbow Friend Claire's blog. She had used a stamp by Chocolate Baroque from a set of seashore stamps and I remembered that I had a sheet of these stamps that I have never used - sound familiar lol!! I immediately looked them out and stamped this image which I had a go at watercolouring with my Lyras. I am entering this into Rainbow Lady's Challenge which this week is another song title - 'I am Sailing'

Catchin' Flakes
Good Evening, it's been dull and grey here today, but at least we didn't get any rain - yet! My card to share today is for the challenge at Bah Humbug and this week the ladies have asked for Scarves and Mittens. Apart from the dark blue cs, which is Papermania, everything else has come from Fred She Said. The bps and the flower are from the Blue Christmas Poinsettia Pack and the image is Catching Flakes, I have used the pre-coloured option. The sentiment is computer generated and I have added a bit of stickles to the centre of the flower, but it doesn't show up very well.
I am also entering my card into CraftyAnn's Challenge - Christmas in June and I have followed Sketch No.106 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Less is More - Monogram
Good Evening, well it's that time of the week again. When I first saw the topic for this week's Less is More Challenge - Monogram, my heart sank right down to my boots. I have spent the afternoon going through all of my grandchildren's names trying to come up with an idea - then the light bulb went off. My eldest grandchild is called Bethany, who is 16, and for quite a few years now has gone by the name of Bee, starting out with her mum just using the letter B when texting. I did a quick google search and found the bee image and went to work with Craft Artist. I used Calamity Teen font and the colour picker to match the text with the bee's wings. I printed the B and the bee then cut it to size and matted with some co-orinating Papermania textured cardstock and used a black pen to leave a trail. The sentiment was printed directly onto the card. I hope this is the kind of thing you are looking for Chrissie and Mandi.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my card.

Whateva!!
Good Evening, my card today is for this week's Bah Humbug Challenge - Whateva!! a card for a teenager. The image and bp both come from My Craft Studio - Walk in Winter Wonderland. I actually used one of these images last Christmas for my 16 year old grand-daughter and 15 year old stepgrand-daughter and they went down quite well. Probably because these fairies are not the pretty pretty type - more like wild child.
The ribbon, flower and button all came from my stash.
My card also fits the challenge at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Buttons

Less is More - 2nd cards
Good Evening, I have got another two cards for this weeks Less is More Challenge - A One Layer Card - In the Frame. The first one is a Printworks collage stamp that I bought at the SSEC in March of last year and this is the first time I have used it, coloured in with Tombow pens. For the second card I have used a Marianne Creatables cut and embossing folder, the image is a stamp I have had for ages but I can't remember the maker and for this one I used the Tombow pens directly on the stamp.

Out of Africa
Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for the challenge at My Time to Craft - Wild Life Reserve and is for my BIL's 70th birthday later this month. The image is made up from Judikins Postage Stamp and Judikins African Cube. I coloured the image with Colour Box Chalk Inks, using direct to paper technique, this was quite easy and the inks pads are years old and almost dried up. The textured cs came from my stash, the bp is Sunny Christmas from Stitchy Bear, the numbers are from a Cuttlebug Alphabet, the sentiment is computer generated and I finished off with some Card Candy

Less is More
Well it's Less is More time again and this week Chrissie and Mandi have asked for a One Layer Card and a Frame. I decided to make an inked rectangle for the frame and managed to waste a fair bit of card in the process - what with one mistake or another, in the end I threw in the towel and slightly cheated. I was going to the print sentiment directly onto my card with Craft Artist and decided to print the coloured rectangle as well. Then I used my new Clarity Alium stamp and embosed with white detail embossing powder.
I hope you like my card, I will probably make another attempt at this challenge later in the week

Ticket to Ride
Good afternoon, my card to share today is a Father's Day card for two of my grandchilren to give to their Daddy. I am entering it into Rainbow Lady's Challenge which is another song title this week - Ticket to Ride. Cynthia wants to see some form of transport and a ticket. My image is from the Create a Scene stamps from Creative Expressions and as I am not that good at colouring these big images I decided to make a black and white card. That brought up the problem of papers - not a problem for Craft Artist. I inserted two CuddlyBuddly digi papers into the programe and changed the colours with a click of the mouse. The ticket is from a sheet of tickets from CraftyAnn which I again took into Craft Artist and added 'Daddy' to it. A fairly quick and easy card.

Emma and a Snowman
Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for this week's Bah Humbug Challenge - Surprise, Surprise. The surprise with my card is that when Sophie receives it there will be some pennies inside. The image is Emma the Hugger and Snowman precoloured from Fred She Said, the bp is from an old DCWV Glittered Christmas Stack and it is the last piece of this particular design, which is a shame because I love this one. The blue cs is Papermania and the sentiment is computer generated.

Sunrise - Sunset
Back again for a second post today, this one is a late entry into Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Sunrise - Sunset. I particularly wanted to make a card for this challenge because I live as far north as you can get in the UK and at this time of the year we have some amazing white nights. In fact when we have clear skies it doesn't get completely dark at night at all. We moved here in June 1977 and the first night we didn't get around to putting the curtains up in the girls bedroom and they woke up at 2 am with the sun streaming in through the windows and thought it was time to get up, the eldest was 5, the middle one 3 and the baby was 10 days away from her first birthday. It was always a struggle this time of the year to get them to bed and not get up in the middle of the night. A couple of nights back I wasn't sleeping to well, and there was a bird serenading me - it was about 2ish in the morning! The only downside of our long summer days is the very, very short winter days!
Onto my card, it was one I made for my SIL's 40th birthday and I forgot to take a pic of it before I sent it, so I asked my daughter if she would take one and e-mail it to me. I have just received it. The background is Big 'n Juicy Soothing Sunset and the images are Stampscapes, everything else comes from my stash.
Thanks for your visit

Less is More - 2nd card
Good Evening, I have been busy today putting inserts into cards from my box and after finishing that I decided to make another card for the Less is More Challenge - Monochrome. This time I have gone with deep red, the image is from a new unmounted A5 plate, Floral Bouquet, from Chocolate Baroque. I stamped with Versafine Crimson Ink and coloured some white ribbon with a Promarker, in real life it matches the ink and matting card a lot better than in the pic, the sentiment is from a Woodware Clear Magic Set also stamped with Versafine Crimson

Less is More
Good Afternoon, not been around for a few days as I've been a bit under the weather. My card today is for this week's Less is More Challenge - Colour Monochrome. I have been making cards for 8 years now and for a lot of that time I have been selling quite a few at our local Health Centre. Last year I had a blip in my cardmaking, I found it a chore and not fun. During this time I never made any surplus cards for sale and someone else started putting her cards there. At the beginning of this week I got a phone call from my friend who works at the Health Centre asking if I could make a retirement card for one of the midwives. When she came to pick it up she saw my LIM cards and asked if I could make a few Sympathy cards in the same vein. So when I saw this week's challenge I knew immediately what my card was going to be. The image is Penny Black stamped with Versafine and the sentiment is computer generated.

The image is from a set of stamps I bought whilst on holiday, think they are called Born to Shop and for the life of me I cannot remember the maker because I threw all the packaging away when I came home. Good Afternoon, my card today is for this week's Less is More Challenge - pick a square. It has taken me longer this morning to pick a stamp that I liked than it has to make the card. Some Enchanted Evening
Good Morning, the sun is shining here in the Northern Isles this morning, there is a bit of cloud about but nothing looking too threatening atm. My card this morning is for Rainbow Lady's Challenge, which this week is another song title Some Enchanted Evening. My image is from Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Dreams cd, there really are some stunning images on this cd. The bp is from the same cd and the coloured accent paper is Cuddly Buddly, the ribbon is from my stash, coloured to match with a Promarker. I would have preferred satin ribbon but I am completely out of white at the moment. The butterfly is a Cuttlebug die and embossing folder, with some aurora sparkle gems for the body, cut from a piece of card painted with two colours of Tesco cheap shimmer paint.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Good Evening, I am not happy with my card today, it appears to be a bit insipid. I went around it the wrong way and coloured the image first and then had real probs trying to get the backing papers to co-ordinate properly, and I think I should have used much bolder colours. I am not a natural when it comes to art, and I struggle with picking colours for these fantasy type images. I followed Sketch102 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, but, I don't think I have nailed it properly. Onto the details: the image is a Sweet Pea stamp by Ching-Chou Kuik and I have coloured with Promarkers and Copics, I masked the image and created the background with distress inks and Judikins colour dusters, the backing papers are from CuddlyBuddly and everything else comes from my stash.
As the colours are quite pale I think I can enter into this week's Papertake Weekly challenge which is Pale, Pretty Pastels.

Sing Little Birdie
Good Afternoon. I have fallen lucky today because one of the cards I made for my 2 grand-daughters 9th birthdays last week fits two challenges., I couldn't put the cards on my blog before as my daughters tend to drop into my blog from time to time. The image is a Robyn's Fetish one which I bought from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps, coloured with Promarkers, the paper is from a DCWV 12x12 stack that I have had for ages, the sentiment is computer generated and everything else comes from my stash.
The two challenges are: My Time To Craft - Use a Die Cut - the number 9 was cut with a Cuttlebug Alphabet Die,
Digital Tuesday Challenge - Add Some Texture - the flower and the Cuttlebugged offset card.
Thank you so much for visiting.

An Oriental Card
Good Evening, today's card is for the challenge at CACB which this fortnight is Oriental. The image is a Cherry Blossom Branch, a digi stamp from CraftyAnn, coloured with a mixture of Promarkers and Copics embellished with a couple of silver coloured butterfly brads, from my stash. The bp is from Crafter's Companion Oriental CD, the contrast card is Papermania and the card is finished off with Craftworks Card Candy, coloured with a Promarker, and a computer generated sentiment.
I am also entering my card into the CD Sunday Challenge which this week is Under the Weather and like some of the DT I have made my card a general Get Well Card.

A second butterfly card
Good Afternoon, I woke up this morning with an idea for another Less is More card, so I have decided to put a second card into this weeks challenge of Butterflies. It's a very simple card as you can see, and again I have used the Cuttlebug die and a different embossing folder, but this time I have used parchment, putting adhesive silver pearls for the body. The sentiment is one I found in one of my stamp boxes, embossed with detail white embossing powder.

Less is More
Good Evening, rather late tonight, it's my last night to be able to craft late into the evening as Robert returns from his golfing holiday tomorrow afternoon. It will be nice to see him, but I will soooo miss being able to get up in the morning an not find a messy kitchen and living room lol. Honestly, he makes more mess than my three daughter did, when they were small, and that is saying something :) Onto my card, it is for this week's Less is More Challenge which is Butterflies. I bought some cheap shimmery paint in Tesco recently and have been playing this afternoon. The butterfly is a Cuttlebug die, cut from a piece of card that I had brayered with two colours of the paint, and then put through the matching embossing folder. The backing card was another piece brayered with just one colour. The panel was stamped using an Anita's background stamp, stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Purple and the sentiment is from a Woodware Clear Magic set, stamped with the same inkpad. Unfortunately, the colours don't look as if they match in the pic but they certainly do IRL, probably due to the lighting. The top of the butterfly matches the backing card and the bottom of the butterfly matches the ink pad.
I hope you like my card and many thanks for visiting today.

Annie and Friends
Good Evening, the rain has finally stopped and we have a lovely sunny evening, but it's blowing a hooley out there. For my card today I have followed the sketch at MAWTT which was designed by Hazel. The image is Annie and Friends from CuddlyBuddly and has been coloured with Promarkers, the bp is also from CuddlyBuddly everything else comes from my stash. The card is for my neighbour's birthday as she is nuts about teddy bears - she has a collection of over 300 teddies in some shape or form.
I am also entering my card into Rainbow Lady's Challenge which this week is - With a Flourish.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Snowflakes
Good evening, my card today is for the challenge over at Bah Humbug and this week the ladies are asking for Snowflakes. The image is a stamp that I love and it comes out every year, it's an old Elusive Images one that I have had quite a long time. The bp is from Season's Greetings an Artylicious cd, the ribbon is left over from the wedding stationery I made earlier in the year and the snowflakes are from a Cuttlebug die.
I am also entering my card into the challenge at CD Sunday, which gives us a choice of Die Cutting/Yeehaw this week.
I hope you like my card and many thanks very much for stopping by today.

Less is More
Good Evening, I didn't think I was going to make it with my Less is More card today. I had one idea first thing this morning and then, after checking my card pics, changed my mind. I spent the entire day trying to make the card and got through at least 20 pieces of card. Luckily I wasn't using my best pearlised cardstock. I was trying to make the card I have finished up with, but apart from messing up the stamping I just couldn't get the colouring right. I was trying to brayer the background with one of my Kaliedacolor inkpads which I have used before with this image, of course before it was always on glossy card because I made it as a topper and the effect was really quite vibrant. The brayering just wasn't working on matt card, I even tried spraying the image with Spray and Shine, but that didn't work either. I finally gave up, and decided I was working in a complete muddle so did a complete tidy up, which took a lot longer than I expected. After having something to eat I decided to have another go and I everything worked the way I wanted it to, but instead of brayering I tapped the ink pad onto my craft mat and put a colour wash onto the image instead. I am still not completely happy with the result, think I should have used a different inkpad. I made the whole thing in just under half an hour. Should have given up earlier and saved some cardstock lol
Anyhoo, the stamps used were the Judikins postage stamp and the India cube, stamped with Versacolour black and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from Joanna Sheen's new Wordy Stamps, think it's No.4, stamped and embossed the same as the main image.
Thank you so much for visiting.

Drink Responsibly
Good Evening, well Blogger seems to be back to normal. Today's card is for the challenge at Digis With Attitude which this week is a sketch. The image is one I bought a couple of days ago from Stitchy Bear, just fell in love with it. I have coloured with Promarkers, the pink bp is Cuddly Buddly and the dark paper that looks brown, but is actually purple is from a Papermania 12 x 12 pad that I bought a good three years ago and has been lanquishing in a cupboard all lonely and forgotten. I sprayed the flowers with Crafter's Companion silver sparkle spray and come from my stash as do the pearls. I haven't put a sentiment on the card yet because I don't know what I am going to use it for yet.
Thanks for visiting today and for any comments you might like to make

Bah Humbug!
Good Afternoon from a gloriously sunny Shetland, it was raining this morning, but now there isn't a cloud in the sky. Hopefully, I am going to sit outside with my book for an hour after I have finished this post. The ladies of Humbug Hall have asked us all to Go Green this week - Recycling or Shades of Green. I have managed a bit of both a fair bit of green and the buttons are recycled from my good neighbour's fabulous button box. She has been recycling buttons since well before recycling was even though of. The ribbon is also recycled, sorry the buttons don't show up very well in the pic. I have also followed this week's sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday
The image is a Judikins stamp, the bp is from an old Papermania Christmas pad, the coloured cs is from my scraps box, the flower is a Marianne Creatable Poinsettia and the sentiment is computer generated.
Thanks for your visit and the lovely comments you have been leaving me.

Happy Birthday
Back again for a late second post today, this is a birthday card requested by a friend, it's a cd image again, because this is the style of card she likes. The image is from Debbi Moore's Regency collection, the bp I think came from another of her cd's but am not completely sure as I found it in my scrap box. The flowers were sprayed with gold glitter spray, the golden pearls were courtesy of C+C in the tool carousel they were selling their 8th birthday celebrations. The sentiment is computer generated. The card is for the challenge at Crafy Ann's - Happy Birthday
Many thanks for visiting and for the wonderful comments you have been leaving.

Less is More
Good Afternoon, my card today is for the challenge over at Less is More which is White on White. I have used white linen finish card, Cuttlebug Daisy embossing folder, Marianne frame and butterfly, the sentiment printed directly from the pc and three crystal gems from my stash. Although I have have had the butterfly for over a year and the frame for a couple of months this is the first time they have been used, sound familiar to anyone lol.
I hope you are all having a good Sunday, I am off with my laptop to sit in front of the tele to watch Fiddler on the Roof and do a bit of blogging.

Back again.
Well, that's my holiday over and I am getting back to normal (ish!) I waved Robert off yesterday morning, he's off to the other side of the world to hit little white golf balls around for a couple of weeks. So now I can play whenever I like. My card is for my best friend's Wedding Anniversary, which is tomorrow: I had completely forgotten, at least I can hand deliver it. So it was Debbi Moore to the rescue, the image is from her Venetian CD and the bp is from one of her ArtDeco cd's. I sprayed the flowers with Crafter's Companioan Silver Spray, the flower centres are brads from my stash, the leaves are punched, the ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.
I am entering my card into Rainbow Lady's Challenge, which this week is Lady in Red. I hope you like my card and thanks for visiting
