A couple of cards for today

The first of my two cards has co-ordinating papers from my Cardmaker's Christmas Pad and the stamped image is from Glenda's Christmas Flourish Stamp Sheet. I stamped it in blue Stazon and then added some Stickles to make it sparkle. The ribbon came from Poppicrafts.

The second one is a fun card. The image is a Penny Black stamp which I stamped in Black Versafine and then coloured with Promarkers. The paper is from DCWV Christmas Stack and the flower came from Poppicrafts.

These cards were made a few days ago and are part of my pile of Christmas cards which is slowly beginning to grow. I hope you like my cards and thank you for visiting and also for the very kind comments you leave, please come back soon. Beryl x

A second card today

My second card today is for Sketch Saturday's Sketch No.25 and also for Papertake Weekly's challenge Let it Snow! For this card I have used Flower Soft for the very first time. I have used black on the penquins and then dotted some glue and added ivory to simulate snow. I am not very happy with the result, I think I need to go back to the drawing board with the penquins. The backing paper came from my Cardmakers Christmas Pad and the white card was dusted with a blue Cosmic Shimmer. One piece of card was then Cuttlebugged using the snowflake folder. Favourite Carol

My card today is for the Joanna Sheen Forum Challenge which is to portray our favourite Christmas Carol. Must admit, I cheated a bit this week because I used Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Christmas cd. Hark the Herald Angels sing is my favourite Carol though. I have used both the co-ordinating papers from the cd with the image, and have added some ribbon from my craft box and a couple of holly leaves and berries that I got from a Hobbycraft Store in July. This is the first card I have made for a few days, my mojo has definitely gone walkabout at the moment. I have been playing around with ideas for other challenges but nothing is going right.

Traditional Christmas

Today's card is for Rainbow Lady's challenge which requires 'Wings' and Cute Card Thursday which is to use Red and Green. The backing paper comes from DCWV Christmas Stack, the stamps are from the 12 Days of Christmas by Penny Black and the ribbon and poinsettia come from Poppiecrafts. Snowmen

My card today is for the My Time to Craft Challenge which asks for Snowmen. My snowman comes from one of Glenda's unmounted sheets, I think I've had it for about two years. I painted the hats and scarves with watercolour pencils. The paper is from the DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas Stack. The matting is Purple Punch Stardream card and the ribbon and glitter paper used for the punched snowflakes come from my local craft shop here in Shetland. Papertake Weekly meets Ooh-La-La Creations

My card today is for two challenges, first a great sketch for Papertake Weekly and Oriental Origins for Ooh-La-La Creations. I used Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD for this challenge. I chose one of the images from the Watercolour Gardens option. I printed the main image on to Inkjet Canvas from Joanna Sheen to give is a more 'painted effect'- as opposed to a photographic effect. The background is made up with some stardream card and a sheet of the matching backing paper for this image. I stuck the image to a piece of co-ordinating paper which I then rolled around a couple of kebab sticks to make an Oriental style wall hanging. The card was finished off with a Flora Doodle Dahlia again from Joanna Sheen. I hope you like my card and many thanks for visiting my blog. Beryl x

Another card today

My second card today is for Cute Card Thursday's challenge of Angels and Fairies. This card was made for a customer. The image and matching backing papers come from Joanna Sheen's

Sketch No. 24

Today's card is for Sketch Saturday's Sketch No.24. The colour scheme was dictated by my choice of backing paper from DCWV Rose Tinted Stack. The stamp is a Judikins one from Stamp Addicts. I stamped with Versamark and embossed using Lavender Twinkle ep also Judikins from Stamp Addicts. The image is matted onto purple punch stardream card, which is also used for the vertical strip element of the sketch and embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Rose Tinted Christmas

Hi, I'm making up for lost time with a second post tonight. This card is for the Friday Sketchers, Sketch No.27. I chose the papers from DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas. The flower is one left from last Christmas and I think it is a Papermania one. The stamp is from Glenda at Graphicus, I chose to keep the whole card in shades of pink and purple, for a more contemporary feel. I hope you like my card and thank you very much for dropping by. Finally

Well, I've finally managed to make a card. This one is for Rainbow Lady's challenge this week, which is to make a card using just one colour from the rainbow. I've chosen green. The paper is one that has been in my craft box for ages, I think it is from DCWV. The Christmas Tree stamp is from Stamp Addicts and it is a Judikins one stamped with green Stazon. I used a stipple brush with a green inkpad to form the background and then used Stickles Green and Diamond Glitter Glue to add a bit of sparkle - which doesn't really show up in the picture. The text is a stamp from One Four Zero, and the ribbon came from Joanna Sheen. I hope you like my card and many thanks for stopping by. Beryl x

Home Again

Well, that's my travelling over for this year, I had a great time with the grandchildren and miss them already. The suitcase is emptied and the washing done, just the ironing now - sorry for the bad lanquage. I hope to be able to post some new cards soon, but as we are having a new carpet laid in my craft room (living room lol), and my craft stuff shunted around a bit in readiness, it may not be until next week. Off on my Hols

I'm not going to be around for a couple of weeks, as I am going on holiday tonight. I'm just going to the mainland to visit two of my daughters and their children. I have not seen on of the grandchildren for over a year, so I am really looking forward the visit.

My First Messy Rabbit

My card today is for Sketch Saturday's Sketch 21. I have used Baggy Jumper from the Messy Rabbit range of cards from Joanna Sheen. The backing papers are from the Cardmakers Christmas Pack, and the flower is from my stash, I think it's Papermania. This is the first time I have put a card on display that I have watercoloured. Today's card is to represent the great sketch no 24 over at Friday Sketchers, I have used two pieces of ribbon so my card also qualifies for Rainbow Lady's Challenge to use ribbon. The backing papers are both from DCWV Christmas Stacks. The ribbon and the flowers are from Poppicrafts. Rodney Reindeer is a Whipper Snapper Stamp, I have coloured him in with my Promarkers. One card - Two Challenges

Today's card is for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge which is a great sketch by Katharina. It also fulfills the Ooh-La-La Challenge which is Flower Power. The cardstock is from Papermania, it is 12 x 12 and beautifully textured and pearlised. I bought it from our new craft shop in Shetland. I made an A5 card from the cardstock and teamed it with Joanna Sheen's beautiful Gold Mirri Silk card. I cut out the flower and text mounts with my oval Nestabilities. I made the flower spray by following the great instructions by Sandra Miles on the Tuition and Advice page on Joanna Sheens website. Unfortunately I don't have any of the green sticky tape recommended, so to cover the stalks of the flowers I used some gold chiffon ribbon and added a bow. The ribbon again came from Joanna Sheen. The flowers and pearl sprays I have had for a long time but for the life of me I can't remember where I got them. Joanna sells the same flower on her web site but it is in pink. Butterfly Card

After an awful weekend, where everything I touched ended up in the bin, I managed to make my card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge - Sketch 20. I started by stippling chalk ink onto glossy card and then stamped the butterflies from Glenda's Just Butterflies in black Stazon. I cut out the large butterfly and mounted it onto purple Stardream, which has been embossed with my Cuttlebug and then cut out with my oval Nestabilities. Friday Sketchers

I am posting a second card today for a different challenge. This one is a fantastic sketch for Friday Sketchers, I love doing the sketches because of the different layouts that I wouldn't of thought of. The card is a very simple one using an image and co-ordinating backing papers from the Joanna Sheen/Jane Netley-Mayhew cd. As the card is for a lady I picked these gorgeous flamingos. I finished off the card with white ribbon and the recipient's name. I used silver peel off letters coloured black and mounted onto white and black cardstock cut from my nestabilities. Joanna Sheen Challenge

The challenge this week on the Joanna Sheen Forum was 'Paradise'. I just love this image, it is from the new Joanna Sheen/Sharon Duncan/Pamela West CD. This is the first card I have made from this CD, there are so many wonderful images on it that it is really hard to choose. The colours and the solitude are what attracted me to this image. Wedding Card

I decided to make a pop out card for this one. The image and backing paper come from Joanna Sheen's Dancing with Shadows. I matted and layered one image onto gold mirri and then cut out the centre of another and 3d'd it. I added two sprays of cream and pink roses to add some colour depth to the card, and tied the gold organza ribbon to the side. Both the roses and the ribbon came from Joanna Sheen. I edged the pop out heart with a gold peel off border and then punched two scallop edge hearts which I stuck together with double sided tape. I used Safamat to add the names of the Bride and Groom to both sides of the heart and then hung it with fine gold embroidery thread. I used Safamat again to put in a short verse. The peel offs and little gems on the ribbon come from my stash. I do hope you like my card and many thanks for stopping by and also for the lovely comments that have been left for my other cards. Latest Christmas Card

Hi, I have made another Christmas Card today and this one is for two challenges. The first for Cute Card Thursday which asks for a Christmas Animal and another great sketch from Sketch Saturday For the image I have used a Penny Black penquin stamp, and coloured in with Promarkers. The coloured patch card is from the DCWV Christmas Glitter Stack. The green circles are from a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and then cut out with a circle punch. Two Challenges

This is my second card today and it is for two challenges. Arty Girlz which is for 'red' and a great sketch for Papertake Weekly. The card is a very simple one made with mirri gold card and a warm red paper from Cardmakers Christmas Pad. The stamp is one of the Elusive Images unmounted plates from Graphicus that I bought a couple of years ago. I have used metal leaf for the first time, it is the oxidating red one. Before I stamped the image I stippled the white card with a warm red ink in order to tone down the bright white card. I hope you like this card and if you would like to leave a comment, many thanks. Teen Birthday

Well I've finally managed to finish a card, mojo deserted me for a couple of days. I spent hours looking through stamps and cd's and nothing grabbed my attention. I eventually picked these images from a cd called Asian Mystique. The images are from a page of ATC's which contained six different images. I cut them into squares and made this waterfall card. Ooh-la-la Challenge - Wings

The challenge at Ooh-la-la Creations this week is 'Wings'. I folded the front of the card back and cut the scalloped edge, then embossed some lines on it. The backing paper and the butterfly came from Crafter's Companion Oriental cd. I printed the butterfly onto card and ink jet acetate and attached them together with the wings free. I finished by using two gold peeloff butterflies which I stuck onto card then cut out , and to finish I added a few gems. I hope you like my card and thank you very much for stopping by. Beryl x

Blue Christmas

My card today is for two challenges, Rainbow Lady's Challenge and Sketch Saturday. Rainbow Lady wanted a Monotone Christmas Card using a rainbow colour, with black allowed for stamping. I decided to go with blue. The base card, matting and punched stars is Lapiz Stardream. The paper is from Avec Colours Ltd, I coloured the white card with a pale blue Cosmic Shimmer powder. The image stamp is the first Christmas stamp I ever bought by Artprints, and it's still a favourite. The blue ribbon came from my stash. I hope you like my card and thank you for dropping by. Joanna Sheen Forum Challenge

This is my entry in the Joanna Sheen Forum challenge for this week, which is 'ribbon'. This in an anniversary card I was asked to make. The image and paper comes from Joanna Sheen's Fashion Boutique cd I have matted and layered the image onto black and gold mirri. The corners are in gold mirri and are cut from my Cuttlebug. Oo-la-la Creations

This weeks challenge for Oo-la-la-Creations is for Black and White + One. I had the biggest problem with the 'One'. I tried all sorts of colours and in the end settled for the pale gold organza
ribbon from Joanna Sheen. I've had the stamp for ages and can't remember where I got it, but it is made by All Night Media, the backing paper comes from Joanna Sheen again it's an option of extra backing papers on the Dancing With Shadows CD. The black card used came from my stash and I used nesties for the matting and layering. The text was done on my pc. I hope you like it.

Friday Sketchers

Thanks to Friday Sketchers, I now have another Christmas Card made. I used one of
Glenda'sChristmas Stamps from a few years back, which I have managed to use every Christmas since buying it. I coloured it with Promarkers and some Stickles but the glitter doesn't show up on the scan. The papers are from a co-ordinated range from Avec C0lours Unlimited and for the life of me I can't remember where I bought them, it was definitely on line :) The blue card, the silver mirri, the brads and trimming all came from my stash. A Green Christmas

I decided to make a Christmas Card this week for Rainbow Lady's Challenge with is a sketch designed by Beryl (the other one :). I used contrasting green papers from Cardmakers Christmas Craft Pad which I bought from my local craft shop. I used the Stamp Addicts Judikins Christmas Cube again, which I stamped with green Stazon. Birthday Card

Hi, My friend asked me today to make a birthday card for her postman who has just celebrated his 60th Birthday. I looked around on the web to find Post Box or Postman pictures and came up with zero. I then had a brainwave and got out Joanna Sheen's American Frontier cd and found this image. Not sure if it shows up but the box in the picture says US Mail. I printed out the picture and matching backing paper and made the Pony Express Ribbon on my pc. The dark cs came from a mixed pack of Stardream card which I bought from an e-bay shop ages ago. It doesn't show up very well in the scan, but it is chocolate brown with a very subtle gold shimmer on it. Gold peel offs and gold mirri card to finish off. Birthday Challenge

The Arty Girlz challenge this week is for a Birthday Card. I made this today for a customer, it's a 21st birthday card, trouble is the customer had no real idea about any hobbies or pastimes Michael might have, so I played safe. Papertake Weekly

For the Papertake Weekly sketch challenge this week I've made a simple Christmas Card. I cut out the circles with my nestabilities and then stamped the holly from a Judikins Christmas cube stamp from Stamp Addicts. The backing holly paper is from Cardmakers Christmas Creative Pack, which I got from our new craft shop here in Shetland. The ribbon and peel offs came from my stash. Two challenges in one.

Chrissie had me really stumped this week with the challenge she set for Rainbow Lady I couldn't come up with an idea at all. Then I logged onto My Time To Craft and discovered their challenge is Animal Antics. So I decided to put both challenges together and came up with Fido's Room. The stamps came from Crafter's Companion Boys & Girls set I used brush pens for the bones and coloured Fido in with Promarkers. Colouring isn't my forte, but these pens have certainly helped me. New Card - Monday

I am hoping that todays card qualifies for two challenges. Firstly a sketch for Papertake Weekly.

Secondly for Ooh-la-la-Creations which is Words of Wisdom. The stamp used for the image is an Elusive Images one from Graphicus and contains the words 'A whisper of Winter' not particularly deep an meaniful lol. The colour scheme was dictated by my choice of paper, which was one from the Graphicus Guild free set. I dusted a piece of white card with a cosmic shimmer similar in colour to the paper and then stamped the image using a co-ordinated brush pen. The image is matted and layered onto silver mirri and an offcut of the main card. The extra strips required by the sketch are mirri silver embossed with swiss dots. Special Occasion

This card is for a Very Special Occasion. My SIL is going to taking on the post of Pastor at St.Thomas Baptist Church in Exeter. His induction ceremony is taking place at the end of this week. I have made this card for the family. I started with a piece of pale pink Tapestry card, the image is from Joanna Sheen's Heavenly Cards. I used the largest image and matted and layered it onto silver mirri and stardream purple punch. The card is trimmed with silver and purple ribbon and three tiny ribbon roses. A new card Saturday

Hi, I made this card for two challenges Cute Card Thursday In the Water and Sketch Saturday

I only know for sure where two of the elements of this card came from. The rest has all come from my stash. The stamp is from one of the Woodware Clear Selections. It was already stamped and coloured with Sakura pens and sitting waiting for a card to go on. The ribbon came from a new tee shirt - you know the ones that you are supposed to put on the hanger :) I've just realised that this card can go into the Tanda Teaser Challenge as well. Pretty in Pink. In real life I wouldn't have said the colourscheme was pink, but it sure looks pink in the scan lol. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

Card for two Challenges

My daughter wanted a New Baby Boy card for an old schoolfriend. As luck would have it, the card fits nicely into two challenges this week. The Papertake Weekly challenge required some kind of stitching, real or faux, and ooh-la-la-Creations challenge was babies. The letters and the paper come from a Crafy Download I bought on ebay ages ago. They were designed by a lady called Marie Johnstone. I have a couple of her cd's but I don't think she is designing now, because I no longer get a newsletter and when I tried to access her site I got the 'no page to dispay' message. This is my last pair of silver baby shoes, and I can't remember where I got them from. I've still got a couple pairs of gold ones, but I prefer silver with pastel shades. Anyway I hope you like it. Can I also say a big Thank You, to all the visitors to my site who have left such lovely comments about my work.

Leaving Card

I was asked by my friend to make a leaving card for someone who is pregnant. I really didn't know what to do so I fell back onto Joanna Sheen's Floral Fantasy CD and picked this picture of a rose. I cut out some roses from the smaller pictures on the sheet and sort of decoupaged them with silicone, to make a mini bouquet. I teamed it with Copper Silk Mirri card, also from Joanna, and a pale peachy coloured stardream. They wanted a large card so I used 2 pieces of A4 and made a hinge which I covered with ribbon. I used my nesties, again, to put on the message and the wee baby shoes which I seem to have had forever. Many thanks for dropping by and I hope you like my card.

Tanda Teaser

This is my attempt at the Tanda Teaser which is 'Shapes' this week. This is the first time I have entered this challenge. My shape is the circle. My card was made almost entirely from products bought from Joanna Sheen. The card is from the Tapestry range and I cut my circles with my nesties in three sizes and then topped them off with the pink and cream rose spray. One Card, Two Challenges

This card if for two challenges, Papertake Weekly Challenge which is a sketch, and Rainbow Lady's which is for Transport. All the card came from my stash, and the background on the image was brayered with a Kaleidascope Multi colour ink pad. The text is coloured peel off letters and the circle is one of the extra dies from my Cuttlebug Alphapet. I've had the stamp for years . I think it is one I bought from C&C ages ago - before I learnt to watch and then go surfing for the same products cheaper, less postage and more importantly faster. 50th Birthday Card

A friend of our's is 50 today, so now I can post the image of her card. I have used the Elusive Images Peacock Lady Stamp which I painted with twinkling H2O's, purchased from Joanna Sheen, where I also purchased the organza ribbon. You will probably notice that her handbag is missing, I had an accident whilst cutting out. Not really a problem though as she won't see the stamp anyway. The paper came with my starter set from The Graphicus Guild I hope you like her, thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday

My daughter asked me to make an 18th Birthday card for a young man with Asperger's; and, not knowing the lad personally I thought I would play safe and use this image from Joanna Sheen's American Frontier CD. After picking the image I decided to use the design for Sketch Saturday's Challenge. I scanned it before finishing off with his name and the number 18. because I wanted my daughter's opinion before the final touches, she approved it. I hope you like it.

This is the second one

This is the card I made for my neighbour's wife to give him on his birthday. I stamped the image with stamps from Stampscapes which I discovered while checking out one of my favourite blog sites Crafters Kitchen Jak is such an inspiration. I brayered glossy card with a Kaleidoscope Inkpad, I think it was bouquet, and used three separate stamps. I cut a piece of A4 card in half and put it together to open like a book. I matted and layered the image onto black and gold card, then used straight line border peel offs. To finish I stamped and embossed his name in gold. A couple of new cards

This is a birthday card for my next door neighbour. It has been finished for a few days, but I couldn't post it until today, which is his birthday, because they have my blog address and check it out occasionally. I started with bronze and cream card and used the Judikins Sea Shell Cube from Stamp Addicts I have been searching their site to put the link to the cube, but cannot find it perhaps it has been discontinued, I have had it for a while. I used a Cuttlebug alphabet and rectangle nesties to put his name on the card.

This is my first post since Friday, had quite a lazy weekend, and then suddenly realised last night that I have a whole lot of orders to get done. This is one of them, I haven't checked out any challenges this week because I had definite ideas for three of the cards on order. Thank you to all the wonderful people who have been visiting my blog and leaving such amazing comments about my butterfly card. I must admit, I don't think this has quite the same appeal as the butterfly, but it's for a man and as you all know they are the worst people to makes cards for.
I think, from listening to the weather forecast today that we have had the best weather in the UK. It is glorious, I have all doors and windows open. Shetland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, when the sun shines - which doesn't happen that often. But, we are having one of the best summers for years. Thanks for visiting

I've had a quiet lazy day today. Finally got around to putting some new unmounted stamps onto EZ Mount, now I am going to have to buy some more sheets or folders to store them on. I am seriously thinking of taking some of my old stamps off the wood and mounting them onto the EZ Mount, because a few of them are so old they are coming apart anyway. But mostly, it would make them easier to store. Many thanks to all fellow bloggers for finding their way to my site and leaving so many positive comments about my cards.

Two Challenges

I am using this card to enter two separate challenges today. I think it answers the

Arty Girlz Challenge because they have specified no patterned paper. I am also hoping that it will work for the Cute Card Thursday's challenge of Soft Furnishings, I'm not really sure but they did mention ribbon in their challenge instructions.

I started with a tent folded square textured card and embossed vertical lines. I used a lovely piece of vellum that I got from e-bay ages ago and coloured it with Cosmic Shimmer Powder from Joanna Sheen. I blended three different colours.

I then embossed it with the swiss dots folder before using my oval nesties to make the mount. The Butterfly came from an unmounted sheet from Glenda at Graphicus and painted with Twinkling H2O's. I used very thin wire for the antenna and 3'd the butterly onto the oval mount, which hid the sticky stuff. I tied the piece of pink ribbon to finish it off. I hope you like it. Beryl

Sketch Saturday

As I needed a birthday card for a customer before the weekend I decided to have a go at this sketch challenge. It took me ages to get it right, I had the idea in my head but none of the bits seemed to work, the air was a lovely shade of blue for a while :).

Anyhoo, I decided to go with this image and matching papers from Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley-Mayhew cd. I decided that the puffins would be perfect as the card is for a Shetlander and we have lots of puffins here. I decided to use a dark blue card and then covered the front with one of the matching backing papers. Then for the horizontal element I used a strip of the blue card and a strip of silver mirri card embossed with the swiss dots. For the vertical element I used the dark blue card again and matted a strip of the second matching paper onto it. The topper was matted and layered twice onto dark blue and silver mirri. I hope you like it

Christmas

Better late than never. This is my first challenge card for a good few days, due to enforced rest by my doctor. The card is for the challenge set by

My Time to Craft which is for Christmas. I have to admit to the fact that this is my very first Christmas card this year, but then again I have always been a last minute type of person and very often find that I work better under pressure.

For this card I scored some vertical lines on a tent fold square card. I got this idea from Jak of Crafters Kitchen and I hope she doesn't mind me using her idea. I put some silk mirri gold card from Joanna Sheen into a snowflake Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. I then stamped the penguins from Penny Black but I have no idea when or where I bought the stamp. I used tombow pens to colour the bonnets, beaks and feet and then mounted them onto some red holographic card from my stash. I finished the card with a Happy Christmas peel-0ff and then tied some of Joanna Sheen's beautiful organza ribbon in gold and red around the top. I hope you like it. Beryl

After discovering iRene's Card Spot this evening, I realise that I have made the same mistake. I have never said Thank You for the lovely comments that my blog visitors have left for me. So please accept my apologies, and I will try to remedy this in future, There is another point I would like to explain, I have recently started to leave my JS Forum username as well as my real name when leaving comments on your blogs. The reason for this being that there is another Beryl with a blog and we are both members of the JS Forum and recently I was almost sent some craft goodies which were meant for the other Beryl, luckily I realised before the goodies were posted and everything worked out the way it should. So that is why I'm adding bik59 when leaving a comment in order to prevent confusion. It's really strange I have only ever met two other Beryls in my entire life; one was the elder sister of a girl I was at school with and the other was a friend of my Mum. Although we are members of the emerald family and even a North Sea Oil Field we are few and far between - unique lol

Hi

Well, it's early Saturday evening and I am so glad I've got a laptop. Had to go visit the Doctor on Thursday because the pain in my back had escalated again, worse in fact that it was a couple of weeks ago. He gave me some more muscle relaxant pills and asked me if I had actually rested last time round. Had to admit that I hadn't done the complete resting bit and got told off. I am now officially not supposed to do anything at all, apart from lay down for an hour and then get up and wander around the house for about 15 minutes and then lie down again. It is soooooo boring and frustrating, hence my being glad I have the laptop. My sentence is for four or five days so roll on Monday. Whilst lying here I have been shopping and have quite a few new goodies which I am desperate to play with. Sorry for moaning, and I hope I haven't detered any visitors who may have come across my blog from returning. I don't always moan - honest

Swirls and Flourishes

This is the first card that I have made for almost two weeks. The back pain is starting to improve so I thought I would have a go at Rainbow Lady's

challenge this week. I started with two large stamps one was an Hero Arts swirley one, and the other was Anita's fluer-de-lie. I inked them up with my brayer using the Kaliedacolour Desert Heat inkpad. Then just cut out some squares, which I mounted onto copper holographic card. I was really stumped for the background until I remembered that I had recently bought a Glimmer Mist spray from Graphicus. I added the two colours of ribbon from my stash which were closest in colour to the Desert Heat inkpad. I'm not overly happy with it but it was quite a simple card to make in order to get myself moving again.
